I just love these twisted, nineteen-fifties-era cartoons.

I’m pretty sure I have mentioned this before, but when I was in college, these retro-style cartoons were coming back into style, and the one I loved the best was of a woman gnashing her teeth against her pearls, and in the bubble above her head, she’s thinking, “I can’t believe I forgot to have children!”

For some reason, that cartoon really cracked me up.

And when I was thinking of writing medical romances, I started looking up medical-themed cover art, and I came across these hilarious cartoons and I thought I’d use this one for today’s blog post, although it doesn’t really have any relevance to today’s blog post, so there you go!

I attended the cast party for Dodging the Bullet tonight, at Josh Luckett’s parents’ home, and it was a lot of fun.

I only had to work on two different weekends, but everyone else was working nonstop all summer long, and I’m sure that, while it’s a relief that the filming is over, it’s also bittersweet, because, well, the filming’s over.

It was nice to see everyone again, who was involved in the movie, and to catch up with everyone and see how they’re doing.

Later, peeps!
