I had so much fun this past Sunday.

I hung out in a bar all afternoon!

Huh, really?

Yes, really.

And a few weeks before the shoot started, the cast arrived at a film studio to make publicity shots of the characters. In these shots, I am with my redneck son.

As you can see, there was a lot of goofing around and silliness, and lots of fun.

Josh Luckett and Josh Phillips are the screenwriters, producers, actors, and directors of this independent film. It’s been such a thrill to work with these two fellas.

There’s a huge community of actors in Cincinnati and I’m only just starting to get in on the action.

I’ll post more photos later.

I attended a photo shoot today for Dodging the Bullet

I got cast in a wonderful role, playing a redneck mama in Dodging the Bullet, a film being made and directed by Josh Phillips and Josh Luckett. I am having a great time with all these talented young people. We got called to the set today for a photoshoot and this is a photo taken of me while waiting to be called to the set to interact with my redneck son!

I thought I’d keep a daily journal of the goings-on behind the scenes. This is more fun than I’ve had in my life in a long time.

I finished Trailer Park Wives III a few days ago and this filming schedule is just the ticket to get me out of my sadness that TPWIII is finished and I don’t quite know what to start on next.

Just finished my latest run-through of TPW III

Just finished my latest run-through of TPW III. Next step is a tech run. During the editing process, I add comments in the margin, notes to myself, questions, items to fact-check. I will do that next, then a quick and dirty tidy-up run-through, and then i’tll be ready to release. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it, it’s been a real labor of love.
